英国著名摇滚乐队甲壳虫（The Beatles）成员，是至今极少数登上流行乐坛顶峰的人物之一。来自一个破碎的家庭，由姨妈抚养长大。约翰从小着迷于流行音乐，早年就读于利物浦艺术学院。18岁时，母亲死于车祸，这一切在约翰的心灵中留下不可磨灭的印象。

人们称他为摇滚战士——为爱与和平的梦想，为平等自由的世界，为心中完美的梦想而战的战士。而他其实更像一个孩子，一个有梦的孩子。这个孩子为了自己的梦从不绝望、从不疲倦……
