你方唱罢我登场，霍纳刚走，季默来了。布拉格爱乐乐团与伦敦音乐工作室共同演绎。和霍纳那张一样，这张专辑也采用了时间倒叙的方式，CD1中是比较新的21世纪的作品。选曲和之前发的那张选曲略有重复。
Hans Zimmer是近年来崛起速度十分惊人的电影配乐家，在电子合成器和传统器乐的结合上，每每展现令人震撼的个人风格，也屡次缔造令人激赏的配乐成绩，特别是在动作电影配乐方面，他独特的音乐形式已经蔚为风尚，揉合了电子乐的炫丽紧凑，和交响乐的磅礴气魄，几乎是近年来，典型好莱坞英雄主义动作电影不可或缺的“标准配备”。
近年来开始培养许多电影配乐新辈，如Harry Gregson-Williams、John Powell、Klaus Badelt、 Steve Jablonsky等人皆是出于此门下。这些作曲家也都在Hans Zimmer与Jay Rifkin共同创建的Remote Control Productions公司（原名Media Ventures）工作。
